Infra-red pictures of Fox cubs, woodmice, & a squirrel: October 18th, 2016

Foxcubs dining out on patio! We had five in the end! Must be two families nearby. Coming every night for weeks.

Here's a selection of pictures taken on a trail camera - the kind of camera you see on Spring/Autumnwatch etc. It sits there quietly waiting for something to move; this triggers the camera to take a picture - nearly 400 in our case! - so that's why it's just a selection. They take video clips as well but I've not sorted out how to convert them into the format (MP4?) that works here or on YouTube.

You will notice that a couple of pictures have little creatures ie. woodmice, with tiny headlamps for eyes! And the last one even has grey squirrel tucking into the food we put out. There are some of a blackbird and a woodpigeon eating the hedgehog food but I spared you those! I'll try and find some of the hedgehogs as well for later posting.
