I have the privilege of working at Quarry Bank so I know the storyline. I found the book had been tackled in an interesting way, interlaced with useful facts about the times and places. The colloquial terms and language did not bother me personally although I feel some people might find it off-putting. This book will appeal to all readers, especially newcomers to "history" and maybe it will encourage them to research deeper into the Industrial Revolution.
